James E. Zwaanstra is the founding member and principal of the firm and received his Juris Doctorate law degree from the University of Oregon in 1996.  He received undergraduate Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Political Science from Oregon State University in 1993.  He is admitted to practice law in the states of Oregon and Washington.  In addition to membership in the Oregon and Washington State Bars, Mr. Zwaanstra is also a member of the Family Law Section of the Oregon State Bar, Washington County Bar Association, and Multnomah County Bar Association.
